Daylight Saving Time Ends This Sunday, November 6
Daylight savings time ends this Sunday, November 6 at 2 am, so be sure to set your clocks back one hour before going to sleep Sunday night. This is also a good time to visit your rental property and check your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors to ensure that they are working properly and with fresh batteries. If working properly, smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are valuable to have in your rental home and can save lives. Many states require that landlords install both carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors within a rental property.
Check with your property manager for more information on local and state requirements in your region to ensure that your rental property is safe for residents.
