Rent Your Home, Help a Life | Tenants Grateful for Real Property Management Team

Treating residents living in our owners’ rental properties with respect and fairness is very important to Real Property Management offices. In addition to providing cash flow and preserving your investment, know that as a rental property owner you are also making a positive impact on the lives of residents. Below is a message recently received by Real Property Management Richmond Metro.

customerprofile_July2016Yesterday I rented a U-Haul van to go to Lowes to buy a lawn mower and plants for the yard. I also found a cheap dresser for my bedroom and a giant leather ottoman for my new home. So, I'm sitting on the back deck on this beautiful morning. I primed most of the dresser out in the yard last night before putting it in the garage with cardboard and newspaper under the dresser (no worries -no paint spills). My son just got home from work and threw his work clothes into the washer, the refrigerator is humming, the toilet is flushing -- and out back my plants are beaming after last night's rain, and the birds are trilling… and we could not be happier. I never ever envisioned I'd be able to live in a house again. Thank you both very sincerely so much in getting us into the house, and then working diligently to get the initial issues resolved so quickly. We are all truly grateful. I ordered a rug online for the living room; it came yesterday and it is as beautiful as all the reviews raved. Slowly this wonderful little house is becoming our home. So, when people ask you what you do, you must reply, “I change lives! For the better!” Very Best Regards, Patricia

According to Ralph Reahard, owner of Real Property Management Richmond Metro, “After a thorough review this resident successfully passed our rigorous screening. Leasing Agent, Sarah, went above and beyond to get this property leased and handled numerous maintenance items upon move in a swift and professional manner.” Sarah gave more details about the family which demonstrates how a nice rental property can improve the lives of others.  She writes:

Sarah_RPM_RichmondMetroWhen I met Patricia and her son, they were not having a good day.  They were not having a good month, for that matter.  They had been taken advantage of by a subpar rental community and were under the gun to find a new home in a stressfully short period of time.  Life, as it so often does, had knocked them for a loop in more ways than one.  Patricia is a testament to the human spirit – I met her at one of the darkest times in her life, and she was sweet and kind and positive.  When we were able to expedite her move in so that she and her family had a place to stay after being wronged by a bottom line company, she was gracious and appreciative and thankful.  When the home, new to our portfolio, had some issues at the initial move in, she was patient and understanding and polite.  I am so grateful to have been a small part in the start of this family’s upturn, and know that things are looking brighter and brighter for them.  Patricia’s letter, and Real Property Management’s corporate reaction to it, just further reiterates what kind of integrity this company has, and I am proud to be a part of it.  We strive every day to make sure that both our tenants and our owners are satisfied and happy with the service we provide, and it shows.  In a profession that can be stressful and thankless at times, people like Patricia are an excellent reminder of why we do what we do.

A special thanks to our property owner clients. We take our responsibility to you and your home seriously, and appreciate the opportunity we get to help you, as well as help residents like Patricia. Thank you!
